Red Riding Hood better watch her back.
Gloom, Keith Baker’s card game of gleeful tragedy, is getting a sprinkling of fairy dust this May.
Fairy Tale Gloom is a standalone card game for 2-5 players, where you are trying to prove which fabled character had it the worst. You do this by playing cards denoting the tragedy’s befallen the characters who are on the table and attempting to minimalize the sensationalism behind another player’s sad Brothers Grimm ending.
Fairy Tale Gloom features Jack, Pinnochio, Hansel, Gretel, Puss in Boots, and Little Red Riding Hood (among others, we assume). It’s compatible with other Gloom sets, but can also be played on its own.
Atlas Games says to expect it in May.
